The Ultimate Warrior makes his entrance to the sound of his music booming around the arena. As he goes through his pre match rope shaking routine the camera cuts backstage to Bobby "The Brain" Heenan priming his stable-man, Hercules for the bout. The Mighty Hercules wearing his ever-present chain around his neck and being accompanied by Heenan makes his way to the ring.
Once Hercules is inside the ring he and Warrior stare eachother down for a while. Hercules removes his chain and challenges Warrior to a tug of war. Warrior cautiously bends down and picks up his end of the chain. Hercules tightens his grip on the other end and both men begin pulling. Neither man has an advantage and their strength seems relatively equal. However both men are slowly being drawn closer to eachother. Hercules siezes the advantage and kicks Warrior who is knocked to the canvas. Warrior gets right back up and takes hold of the chain and jerks it away so hard that it snaps and Hercules is sent flying back into the corner. Hercules gets up and attacks Warrior with the chain. The referee wastes no time is calling for the end of the match and awarding it to Warrior by disqualification.
The action isn't quite over yet though as Hercules continues his assault on The Ultimate one. Eventually a horde of lower-card stars run to the ring and attempt to break up the two. They are largely unsuccessful though and Hercules leaves the ring when he is good and ready. It takes the Warrior just a short while to recover and he promptly runs backstage in pursuit of Hercules.
Later in the show we are informed that Warrior and Hercules are causing as much mayhem backstage as they were in the ring.
And that my fellow Warriors, is how The Ultimate Warriors first feud in WWF began.
