OpponentRick Rude

Ravishing Rick Rude enters the arena first accompanied by manager, Bobby "The Brain" Heenan. Once he gets to the ring he does his usual pre match routine - "Cut my music. I want to show all you fat, out of shape, Pennysylvania pissants what a real man looks like." This really gets the crowd going. But their boos turn to deafening cheers as The Ultimate Warrior's music hits and The World Wrestling Federation Champion runs to the ring. Warrior leaps onto the steel cage and starts shaking it wildly. Then drops back down and runs around the ring. He sure looks pumped!

Rude climbs to the top turnbuckle and challenges Warrior to get in. Warrior begins to scale the outside of the cage but Rude welcomes him with some clubbing right hands. At this point the bell sounds to begin the match. Technically all Warrior needs to do now is drop to the floor to end the match. However the majority of this capacity crowd came to see Warrior hand out a beating and who was Warrior to deny them?

He retaliates against Rude with some punches of his own eventually forcing Rude off the turnbuckle by slamming his head onto the top of the cage. Warrior climbs inside and waits on the top turnbuckle until Rude has regained his feet. Warrior launches himself and nails Rude with a forearm. The Ultimate one takes advantage of a groggy Rude by slamming him into the wall of this unforgiving steel cage several times. Just when it seems this is going to be all one way traffic and an easy win for Warrior, Rude dodges a charge and Warrior hits the stell cage at pace.

Warriors bell is rung and Rude, still groggy himself, attempts to climb out of there. Warrior recovers just in time to grab hold of Rude's ankle. Rude kicks him to the canvas. He then turns and drops a forearm on Warrior from the top rope. Rude now slams Warrior into the cage a couple of times. Warrior tries to fight back with some punches but Rude breaks his momentum with an eye rake. Rude rams Warriors face into the cage and attempts to set the Champion up for his finisher "The Rude Awakening". Just as it seems like it's all ove for the Warrior he powers out of the move and hits Rude with a clothesline. Warrior goes for a splash but Rude brings his knees up just before impact. Rude wastes no time in delivering his finisher and Warrior lies, out cold on the mat. It seems as though the crowning of a new champion is nothing but a formality now. On the outside Bobby Heenan roars at Rude to just get the hell out of there. But for some reason, probably with their heated past playing on his mind, Rude decides to punish Warrior some more. He climbs to the very top of this 15 foot high steel cage and drops a forearm on Warrior. Again Heenan roars at Rude to get out. But again Rude ignores him. He climbs again to the top of the cage and drops a forearm. This time however, Warrior steps aside and drives his fist into Rudes midsection. An exhausted Warrior makes his way to the door on his hands and knees. The door is opened for him. All he needs to do is slide outside and he will have won one of the most gruelling matches of his career. Just as he pokes his head outside though. Heenan slams the steel door shut on him. Rude attempts to cover Warrior but only gets a two count. Rude tries to exit via the door but Warrior just manages to grab an ankle. Heenan grabs hold of Rudes arms and tries to pull him out of the grip of the Warrior. Warrior gets a firm grip of Rudes tights and the Pennsylvania pissants get to see what a real mans ass looks like.

Rude scrambles back inside and Warrior makes a grab for Bobby Heenan. He pulls Heenan inside delivering a clotheslie and an atomic drop before turning to face Rude again. Rude is waiting though and knocks Warrior to the floor with a clothesline. Warrior begins shaking, his body filling with adrenaline. The crowd begin to cheer louder now as they know he is calling on the power of the Warriors. Rude attempts to beat him down but Warrior seems impervious. Warrior runs off the ropes at each side of the ring delivering clothelines to Rude at every pass. Warrior then signals that it's time fo the Gorilla Press Slam. He hoists Rude up effortlessly and drops him to the mat. Warrior then beats his chest victoriously before climbing up and out of the cage. Rude groogy on the inside is staggering about looking for Warrior. He doesn't realise yet that Warrior has exited the cage and has retained his WWF title.

Warrior celebrates by climbing to the top of the steel cage and raising the title above his head in salute to all the little Warriors.
